B2B ends the Birthday Bashes for 2011 in October so that we can prepare for Christmas! This years last party was magnificent, we were doubled blessed with Dillon Chase and Micah Mixon.
The party started off with praise and worship led by Tim and Josephine, and as always it was wonderfully anointed! Then Micah MC’d a fun cookie eating contest followed by a dance contest. The winners received gift cards as their prize. Micah ended with a dance that had everyone’s attention!
After the games Dillon Chase came to the stage and free styled about various topics that the kids came up with. He then spoke the Word of God with sincerity and boldness and yet with a humble spirit. He amazed the kids with his skills as a rapper for Jesus. After, it was time for the Birthday Song. This song can take a very long time. many of the teens use this as their opportunity to share their talent and a singer, it is always fun and entertaining.
Lunch was catered by Mike from Chick-Fil-A on 2920 Kuykendahl. Following lunch we had a competitive Basket Ball Tournament and a fun game of volleyball. Kids that did not want to play sports were able to get a sno cone, have their face painted or visit the Nail Shop. It was an awesome day and ALL glory goes to God!
